Position Overview:
The Manager of Commercial Operations will support and enhance the effectiveness of our field teams, including Sales, Medical, and Market Access. This role will play a critical part in optimizing field operations, supporting execution, and ensuring alignment with corporate goals in a fast-paced environment.

The Manager of Commercial Operations will support and enhance the effectiveness of our field teams, including Sales, Medical, and Market Access. This role will play a critical part in optimizing field operations, supporting execution, and ensuring alignment with corporate goals in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
These may include but are not limited to:
- Operational Support & Execution: Develop, implement, and manage tools and processes to support field team operations. Lead design and implementation of field force planning, including territory sizing, alignment, targeting, call planning, and reporting. Oversee CRM system support and enhancements (Veeva). Manage and administer vehicle reimbursement program (Motus), keeping leadership informed on budget and industry benchmarks.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for field team productivity and engagement, partnering with field leadership to align on routine reporting and ad-hoc analyses. Develop dashboards and reports to provide timely insights to the field team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, Market Access, Training, and Compliance to ensure compliant alignment on field initiatives. Act as liaison between field teams and home office to ensure streamlined communication and issue resolution.
- Field Enablement & Strategy: Partner in sales planning and execution process, which include evaluating territory design and assisting with incentive compensation (IC) design and administration. Investigate and resolve data questions/inquiries from the field or internal partners, finding solutions in a timely manner.
- Training, Onboarding, and Roster Management: Partner with Field Training and HR to support onboarding and ongoing training of new field team members. Manage field rosters critical to inform system access, user hierarchies, and IC eligibility. Manage credentialing for field sales team.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3-5 years of experience in field operations, sales operations, or commercial operations in the biotech/pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong experience with field CRM systems (Veeva CRM preferred), analytics tools (Tableau/Power BI), and MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with common healthcare datasets (Claims, Specialty Pharmacy, 867, 852).
- Exceptional project management, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with launch planning is a plus.
Travel Requirements:
- Up to 20%, including field visits and headquarters meetings.
