Position Overview:
The Director of Employee Development will play a key leadership role in advancing PharmaEssentia’ s talent strategy by designing and delivering impactful learning and development programs that enhance employee capabilities, strengthen leadership at all levels, and support a high-performance, growth-oriented culture. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of learning experiences that align with the company's strategic goals. This leader will work closely with business leaders, subject matter experts, and HR partners to identify capability gaps, drive skill development, and embed a culture of continuous learning across the organization.

Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate brings a successful track record of developing and implementing employee training and skills development programs.
- Work in partnership with Human Resources to develop the approach for development and deployment of various learning and development programs and initiatives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with department leaders to understand capability needs and co-create practical, scalable solutions.
- Design and deliver internal development training curriculum and programs, both in person and virtually.
- Identifies and manages vendors.
- Tools & Systems: Build toolkits and self-service learning resources; assess and implement systems that support learning and performance.
- Promote the use of innovative learning technologies and platforms to enhance accessibility and engagement in learning programs.
- Emphasizing leadership development, professional growth, and company values, this role supports strategic initiatives and cross-functional alignment while promoting innovation and operational excellence
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and employee engagement in a fast-paced and evolving corporate setting
- Supports PEC academy in other training and development initiatives as required.
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- 8+ years of experience developing and implementing company-wide employee development programs, preferably in life sciences.
- Strong understanding of talent development strategies, leadership development, performance management, and learning and development best practices
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
